If it locks up its cuz you messed up uxtheme.dll when renaming it old and restarting. no theme, all black but task manager still works. Go through safe mode w/ command prompt, rename it back to uxtheme.dll. type help in command to find out how to rename a file. probably gonna have to sys. restore to get your themes menu back.

The first time I tried changing my themes it crashed all my themes the only way to fix it is by using your system restore program on the back up area. THE ONLY WAY!!

If you are renaming fils in the %systemroot%\System32 then what is the point in copying them into the %systemroot%\System32 as they are both the same and it will already have them in it as they was in it wene you edited them???

These instructions are shitty - I followed them and when I tried to take off the theme, it screwed up the Windows default themes so now I can't see anything on the screen because it's all black! The computer is screwed up and now I'm going to have to pay to have someone fix the themes so I can see the screen again! Thanks for your help in fucking up my system!
