Obviously your referring to a different “god” than the God I know, because the One I know is the polar opposite of all these things. Those adjectives fit a lot of the people in this world, but they do not describe my God.
Yeah, the quickest way to becoming an atheist is by reading the bible and revealing the truths spelled out in this wallpaper. Just off the top of my head: Luke 19:27 which are words spoken by the beloved and compassionate, Jesus. Fanaticism implies a lack of critical thinking which is FAITH (belief without proof).
I’d like to just point out that verse Luke 19:27 are not directly the words of Jesus. It is a small segment of the parable of the ten minas which was written from the standpoint of a king in that time. Jesus is telling the parable because it conveys a message of being fiscally wise. Metaphorically it means those who pursue spiritual gain will find it and become richer in it and those who do not will lose what little they have.
This is so bad, I think something must have gone terribly wrong in this artist’s life to create something like this, because this is absolutely NOTHING like the God I know and love.
BEST wallpaper.
Why do ppl assume atheists are those with tragic lives and
don’t believe in god because they’re mad at him?!
We’re just open minded and LOGICAL.
You should be too. Just THINK and be aware of your bias.
George Carlin: “The god excuse; the last refuge of a man with no answers and no argument.”
Stephen Hawking: “All that my work has shown is that you don’t have to say the way the universe began was the personal whim of god.”
Carl Sagan: “It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying & reassuring.”
Richard Dawkins: “We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.”
Chapman Cohen: “Gods are fragile things; they may be killed by a whiff of science or a dose of common sense.”
Charlie Chaplin: “By simple common sense I don’t believe in god.”
Benjamin Franklin: “The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason.”
Blind faith is an ironic gift to return to the creator of human intelligence. You can’t convince a believer of anything; for their belief isn’t based on evidence, its based on a deep-seated need to believe.
I don’t see why people are so mad. If you don’t like the wallpaper, stop complaining about it and DON’T DOWNLOAD IT! Have some common sense. No one cares about your opinion or my opinion or anyone else’s opinion.
This is a very cool wallpaper; I certainly agree with this depiction. Consider the well-known quote of Epicurus on God and his/her logical inability to be both omnipotent and benevolent. That aside, this description easily covers the deity represented in the bible – an evil, blood-thirsty terrorist devoid of true compassion as well as a thirst for knowledge, two of humankind’s most noble assets.
Yeah right, there’s nobody more fanatic than an atheist actually.

i believe the artist refers to the “GOD” of the bible. read it thoroughly and the artists words are strikingly accurate.
“religion is not the problem, its what people do and blame on religion”

Sounds like the words describe the artist.
